The Trump White House website says "Sorry, no results found for LGBT," and the only "gay" result is a reference to the "gay friendliness" of Grace Anna Goodhue Coolidge, wife of President Calvin Coolidge.

3. Civil rights are no longer on the list

The Obama White House listed "civil rights" as the first among "top issues" on its website. The new Trump White House website does not mention civil rights at all but does list as a top issue "Standing up for our law enforcement community." Specifically, the site says, "The dangerous anti-police atmosphere in America is wrong ... Our job is not to make life more comfortable for the rioter, the looter, or the violent disrupter."

4. A military build-up is coming

The new White House website commits to "making our military strong again," including getting rid of the across-the-board budget cuts known as "the sequester" and investing in ballistic missile defense — long a priority of Republican administrations. Trump's website promises to "develop a state-of-the-art missile defense system to protect against missile-based attacks from states like Iran and North Korea."

5. The site is no longer accessible

A little button at the bottom of the Obama White House website provided information for people with disabilities — including a White House video tour in sign language and an explanation of links on the site that allowed users to use audible screen readers, closed captioning and other services.

Obama apparently took that button with him when he left because it is no longer present on the Trump White House site. However, that button is likely to come back. Federal law requires government websites to be accessible to people with disabilities.

Theresa May is coming under pressure to say whether she knew about a reported misfire of the UK's nuclear weapons system before a crucial Commons vote.

The Sunday Times says the missile veered off course during a test in June last year - weeks before the Commons voted to spend £40bn renewing Trident.

Questioned by Andrew Marr, the PM refused to say four times if she had known about the test ahead of the vote.
The SNP's Nicola Sturgeon called for a "full disclosure" of what happened.

According to the Sunday Times, an unarmed Trident II D5 missile veered off in the wrong direction towards the US - instead of towards Africa - when it was launched from a British submarine off the coast of Florida.

In July - days after Mrs May had become prime minister - MPs voted overwhelmingly in favour of replacing Trident.

During the debate, Mrs May told MPs it would be "an act of gross irresponsibility" for the UK to abandon its nuclear weapons.
MPs backed its renewal by 472 votes to 117. However, all 52 SNP MPs voted against it - as did Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.

Two Air Force B-2 stealth bombers struck Islamic State camps southwest of the Libyan city of Sirte on Wednesday night, less than a month after the Pentagon declared an end to an extended air campaign there.

Pentagon press secretary Peter Cook said that the aircraft, known for their distinctive bat-like appearance, dropped more than 100 bombs and hit two Islamic State encampments about 30 miles outside Sirte. The outposts were inhabited at least in part by fighters who had fled the city in the fall, and the operation was approved by President Obama, Cook said.

Defense Secretary Ashton B. Carter told reporters Thursday that the camps contained militants “actively plotting” attacks in Europe and that the strikes were “critically important.”

“As always, external operations are a very important part of the reason to destroy ISIL, as well as to wipe them out of Libya itself,” Carter said, using an acronym for the Islamic State.

MQ-9 armed drones also participated in the strikes, using Hellfire missiles to hit targets that remained after the initial bombardment, Col. Patrick Ryder, an Air Force spokesman, told reporters. The operation took 34 hours, and the two B-2s, named the Spirit of Pennsylvania and the Spirit of Georgia, flew from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri to carry out the strikes, Ryder said. The camps were in remote desert locations, and no civilians were believed to have been hit in the bombardment, officials said.
